Humanoid Ecosystem · Part of The Humanoid Group
Humanoid Makers
Humanoid makers range from start-ups focused on a single general-purpose robot to established robotics and electronics companies. The Humanoid Group lists humanoids from a wide range of them, for workplaces, customer service and research.

Workplace humanoids
Several makers design full-size humanoids for logistics, manufacturing and other work in spaces built for people. On The Humanoid Group you'll find workplace humanoids from Agility Robotics, Apptronik, Figure AI, Unitree, Kepler and Astribot, among others. These robots differ in height, payload, hands, runtime and how they are taught new tasks. Some carry a listed price and others are priced on request, depending on how each maker sells. Compare them on the tasks you actually need, not on headline specifications.
Service and social humanoids
A second group of makers builds humanoids designed to interact with people: greeting visitors, guiding customers, presenting information or serving as expressive platforms for research. Listings in THG's customer service category include humanoids from Engineered Arts, Enchanted Tools, Dobot and Sanctuary AI. When evaluating these robots, focus on conversation and display capabilities, how content is managed, and how the robot behaves safely in public spaces.
Research and small humanoids
Research-focused humanoids give universities, labs and developers a platform for locomotion, manipulation and AI work. The Humanoid Group lists research humanoids from Unitree, Booster Robotics, AgiBot, Noetix Robotics, RoboParty and Xiaomi, and smaller humanoids such as the Robotis Darwin OP3. Smaller robots often suit teaching and competitions, while full-size platforms support more realistic manipulation research. Ask about developer access, simulation support and the community around each platform before you choose.

Common questions
Are these the only humanoid makers?
No. This guide names makers with robots listed on The Humanoid Group. The field is growing, and new makers and models appear regularly.
Why isn't a maker I know listed here?
Only makers with robots in the THG Marketplace catalogue are named, and that catalogue changes over time, so check the current listings before you shortlist.
